Buyers Resources

Buying is fun with me at your side.

Here is a brief overview of the process.

The first step in buying a home is usually to get pre-approved by a lender. This is important because you need to know how much you can afford to pay for your home. This will save you time by looking at a price range that you can afford. Additionally, it is usually required when making an offer. This gives the seller of the home some assurance that you have the financial ability to buy the home.
This is where it gets fun. With your letter in hand and a good understanding of how much you can afford you are now prepared to locate your next home. We know the market well and will assist you in locating the perfect home based on your desires.
After you have found a wonderful home, I will look at recent sales in the area and current market trends to determine the best price and terms to offer. My goal is always to get you the most for your money.
After the seller accepts your offer we will open escrow. At this point the seller will want you to wire your ernest money in to escrow.
You will now begin your investigation of the home. This is your opportunity to learn all about the home and, based on your findings, decide to move forward with the purchase or cancel the escrow. This is when you will receive seller disclosrues, order your own reports, and review any reports that are provided by the seller.
If you are satisfied with your discoveries related to the property you will be asked to remove any and all contingencies. After you do this you are telling the seller that you are satisfied with the information you have received related to the property and you are prepared to move forward with the escrow.
You will be asked to sign additional escrow documents and will work with escrow to close the purchase. I will provide all the assistance you need to help you understand the process. After the property is recorded in your name you will become the new owner.
